AMS and SMS Measurers are appointed at the sole discretion of the Measurement Rating Committee and they are responsible for the measurement of boats, according to the rule. The Committee takes into account the demand, location of existing Measurers, prior Rating measurement experience, training needs and geographic location when filling a vacancy for Measurers.
